BBC chief resigns after row over Trump documentary

BBC Director General Tim Davie has resigned following a controversy over an edited Donald Trump documentary. The broadcaster's head of news also stepped down. The documentary allegedly presented a misleading edit of a Trump speech from January 6, 2021.
