The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) transferred seven innovative technologies to the Indian armed forces, emphasizing import substitution and vital tech development. These were made under the Technology Development Fund (TDF) scheme. The initiative aims at strengthening domestic capability and reducing dependency on foreign technologies.
