It is not often that a scrap dealer leads a Deputy Inspector General (DIG)-rank officer into a CBI trap. But Akash Batta, a Mandi Gobindgarh resident, did just that to Ropar Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, who was arrested in a Rs 8-lakh bribery case.
