India to launch Passport Seva 2.0 for NRIs in Dubai from October 28

India's Consulate General in Dubai is launching an upgraded passport service from October 28, 2025. The new system introduces e-passports with secure chips for faster immigration. Applicants will use a new online portal to register and apply. This move aims to simplify the process and reduce waiting times. Minor corrections can now be made by service providers directly.
