IndiGo slapped with ₹20 lakh penalty by DGCA for pilot training lapses, airline to contest

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has fined IndiGo twenty lakh rupees. The penalty is for alleged pilot training lapses at Category C aerodromes. IndiGo is contesting the order. The airline stated there is no material impact on its financials or operations. The delay in disclosure was due to internal communication lags.
