PE-firm InvAscent buys out Somerset, invests Rs 265 Cr in Rajasthan-based hospital chain Apex

Life sciences private equity firm InvAscent has acquired a significant stake in Apex Hospitals, investing $30 million (Rs 265 crore). This funding, a mix of primary infusion and secondary purchase from exiting investor Somerset Indus, will fuel the Rajasthan-based multi-specialty hospital chain's expansion into western and northern India. Apex's promoters will retain a majority stake.
