World Bank Approves Funding For Two Projects In India, To Upgrade Quality Of Education In Punjab & Boost Incomes For Small Farmers In Maharashtra

The World Bank said it has approved funding for two projects in India that will benefit more than 60 lakh people. It will improve the quality of education in Punjab and boost incomes for marginal farmers in Maharashtra. More than 20 lakh small and marginal farmers in Maharashtra, of which 2.9 lakh are women, will benefit from improved soil health, nutrient management, and water-use efficiency.
